Web Developer: Rob Koren
Robert A. Koren founded RKI Technology Consulting in 1996,
after rising to Consulting Manager/Sales Executive at
Information Strategies, Inc., a database consulting firm
located in Washington, DC. Mr. Koren was successful in a
number of key initiatives at Information Strategies, most
notably the development of a large database system for the
analysis of transactions directly relating the White House
illegal campaign contribution investigation.
Mr. Koren has worked almost
exclusively within a three-tier environment, applying the
power of the database to the web. Working with Active Server
Pages (ASP) since its release, Mr. Koren was at the forefront
of moving the web from a static information to a dynamic
information tool.
Most of RKI clients have been
web focused, from an internal Intranet (strictly ASP web
driven) for a 1000+ employee software development firm in need
of a better management system for employees, to a management
system for tracking the software sales cycle, and an
E-commerce system for a record manufacturing company in
Boulder, CO.
RKI Technology Consulting has
grown 125% in both revenue and personnel since its inception.
RKI is also proud to sponsor over 10% of staff time to
training initiatives aimed to better meet the needs of the
client.
Mr. Koren's skills include
fluency in HTML, VB Script, Visual InterDev, Java, Java
Script, DHTML, ActiveX, ASP and SQL. Mr. Koren works with a
variety of RDBMS including, SQL Server, Oracle, and Microsoft
Access. Mr. Koren also has excellent skills in MTS, MSMQ, and
Microsoft Site Server Commerce Edition.
Mr. Koren holds a degree in
Business Administration from Regis College in Colorado.
